A Little About Me
I haven't always had the right relationship with my health.
For years, I thought health was mostly about eating well and exercising. If I avoided fat or sugar and exercised at crazy high intensities, I'd be healthy.
Then life changed my perspective.
Throughout the years, I struggled with low energy and fatigue, stomach pain and digestive issues, poor sleep, anxiety, acne, and migraines.
Unwilling to accept these as just part of life, started experimenting with small habit changes and was able to reverse many of my symptoms.
One of the greatest lessons I learned is that our bodies are remarkable - not because they're perfect, but because of everything they do to keep us alive, protect us, and adapt through life's challenges.
That realization transformed how I approached my own health.
It inspired me to learn everything I could about nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, mindset, and the science of how our daily choices influence the way our bodies function.
Today, my message is simple:
To help people adopt realistic habits that finally start supporting their bodies so they can feel and function at their best.
My own health journey- including cancer - deepened this conviction. But Reframing Health isn't about cancer, or me.
It's about all of us, and all of the different health struggles we go through that could be prevented or reversed with the right habits and support for our bodies.
I believe we shouldn't wait for a diagnosis, a wake-up call, or a crisis before investing in our health. Small choices, made consistently, can change the trajectory of our lives.
Through coaching, education, speaking, writing, and honest conversations, I hope to inspire people to appreciate their bodies, embrace healthier habits, and live with greater joy and vitality now and in the future.
I'm so glad you're here.

Why I created Reframing Health
Heading 5
My professional journey eventually led me to become a:
Health educator with a Master's degree in Health Education
Personal Trainer
Functional Nutrition Counselor
Sleep, Stress Management, and Recovery Coach
Wellness Coach
I wanted to understand the body - not just how it looks from the outside, but what is happening underneath the surface and how nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, mindset, and daily habits influence the way we feel and function.
But my personal journey taught me something my education alone never could:
Health isn't about perfection.
It's about learning.
It's about paying attention to our bodies signals.
It's about adapting to our environments.
It's about giving yourself grace when life gets hard.
And it's about recognizing that the small things we do consistently can help shape the future we are creating for ourselves.
I want to help you change the conversation with your own body.
Instead of:"Why can't my body just cooperate?"
What if we asked:"What is my body trying to tell me?"
Instead of:"I need to lose weight."
What if we asked:"How can I nourish my body today?"
Instead of:"I have to force myself to exercise."
What if we asked:"How can I move my body in a way that makes me feel strong and capable?"
That's the reframe.
And it doesn't mean ignoring the hard stuff or pretending everything is okay. It means choosing a different perspective - one rooted in curiosity instead of criticism, nourishment instead of punishment, consistency instead of perfection, and hope instead of fear.
I'm still on the journey. I don't have a perfect health story. I don't have every answer. And I don't believe anyone does.
What I do have is years of education and experience, a lot of personal lessons, plenty of mistakes, and a deep belief that we can all learn to care for ourselves effectively.
My hope is that Reframing Health becomes a place where you don't feel judged for where you are, but place where health feels less confusing and overwhelming.
A place where you learn to listen to your body, nurture your mind, create habits that actually fit your life, and feel empowered to make choices that support the future you want.
Because your health isn't a project you have to perfect. It's a relationship you get to nurture.
And it's never too late to start.
Come with me as we enter the journey to Reframing Health.
