Health is more than just diet and exercise. It's helping the body function at its best so we feel our best! It's knowing we are all unique, and what works for one person may not work for another.

Despite an internet full of health information and the endless number of diet protocols promising too-good-to-be-true results, people are still confused about what is or isn't healthy. More people than ever are finding themselves with chronic symptoms that interfere with their quality of life. Low energy, weight gain, sleep issues, joint pain, headaches, stress and anxiety, and skin issues are just a few of the growing list of symptoms becoming mainstream health challenges.

 

But with all the health information out there, shouldn't people be feeling better instead of worse? Even those who try some of the "healthiest" diets out there get no relief. They are left feeling frustrated, discouraged, and drained trying to figure out how to feel better.

 

Reframing Health was founded on the idea of shifting the way we think about nutrition, movement, and mindset and the impact it has on our health. It's shifting away from the diet mentality, which leaves one feeling deprived and restricted, toward the practice of nurturing the body. It's shifting our mindset to fully embrace all that our bodies do and how we can best support it through optimal nutrition and lifestyle choices. It's forgetting what you think you already know and building your knowledge with a from-scratch approach that is tailored specifically for YOU

Weight loss is so much more than calories in/calories out. There are numerous processes that occur inside the body and, when one or more of them are out of balance, weight is affected.
